Kuwait Oil Terminals have State agent “Minatank – KOTC Marine Agency Branch” performing all operational co-ordination with Suppliers.  All other commercial agencies perform as Owners Protecting or Funding Agent only

Pilotage / VHF Contact

Pilotage is Compulsory. All berthing, unberthing and manoeuvring of vessels within the port limits, restricted area and prohibited anchorage must be done under the supervision of a KOC Pilot. 
Vessels should arrive with sufficient clean ballast for safe manoeuvring under prevailing weather conditions.

Mina Al Ahmadi Oil Pier(s)

The principal Kuwaiti port for the export of crude, products and gas. Main facilities are operated by Kuwait National Petroleum Co. The SBMs are operated by Kuwait Oil Co. The port is an open roadstead and comprises North Pier, South Pier, New Oil Pier and SBMs.
